About Me

I enjoy blending technical curiosity with the power of community. I bridge the gap between innovation and hard work.

I'm an AWS Community Hero. Since 2013, I've organized the Chicago AWS user group, the 3rd largest user group in North America. We maintain regular educational, user-focused events in downtown Chicago. In 2017 I joined the wonderful DevOpsDays Chicago organizers as part of the worldwide community conference series for DevOps. Join DevOpsDays in the future!

I bring hands-on expertise in AWS, cloud migrations, and technical communications. I’ve led Agile and DevOps transformations for large and small teams. I am proud to organize the Chicago AWS user group and AWS Community Day Midwest, a user-run conference for over 400 attendees. I can easily translate ambiguous requirements into actionable milestones, align stakeholders across disciplines, and deliver measurable impact. I’ve also presented at AWS re:Invent, the Chicago AWS Summit, and community events. I can communicate complex technical concepts with clarity and enthusiasm.

Before technology, I ran green building LEED certification projects for over 8M square feet of REIT buildings, earning my Certified LEED AP O+M. I hold a BSM from Tulane University. Roll Wave!

I am a product of Nashville, a lover of New Orleans, and a proud Chicago transplant. I adore my dog, Peanut.
